Jubilee Primary School had a great identity, a clear vision and staff on board with fantastic ideas, however, they had an empty building to convert into a school with children arriving in less than two months! Integrity were brought on board to help bring their ideas to life and deliver the original vision within the school environment.
We held workshops with the staff team to understand how the internal spaces would be used and how the organisation’s ethos and values could come to life in the school environment. We then undertook a space planning exercise to identify how the internal rooms and spaces would function and interconnect - creating a reception and ‘welcome’ area, classrooms, reading spaces and dining rooms, together with all the ancillary back-office requirements.
We translated the ideas into creative moodboards and concepts, and then into detailed design specifications, including finishes, furniture specifications, bespoke desks, and branding graphics - at each stage ensuring stakeholder input and feedback.
With tight timescales and lots to do, Integrity found the best suppliers for furniture and graphics, and pulled in their trusted partners to help implement the designs across the space. We facilitated the the whole job of dressing the space with planting, picture frames and other finishing touches.
The end result: individual inspiring spaces that fulfil their specific purpose. People often comment that ‘it feels so much better than a school environment’. This is the result of bringing us into the team to challenge convention and bring a fresh perspective.
