How do you signpost a village whose population changes twice a week?

A HOLISTIC APPROACH

Center Parcs is one of the UK’s leading providers of high quality activity holidays. Their newest village, at Woburn in Bedfordshire, is set within 362 acres of forest and comprises several miles of paths and roads, a diverse set of customer journeys, and the potential to lose yourself.

The Center Parcs board knew that building a brand new park was an ideal time to re-think the way customers navigate their sites and came to Integrity because of our proven expertise in developing successful wayfinding systems.

Integrity led the wayfinding process - from the initial route analysis for the site, understanding customer types, and then developing a sign system which simplified navigation and connected with maps and digital information. The result is a holistic wayfinding strategy which ensures a seamless customer journey for visitors and guests, whether travelling by car, bicycle or on foot.

The project encompassed 2 years of design and development work, 13,000 individual signs, and 2,900 bespoke artworks. And of course, our blend of logic and creativity meant we were perfectly placed to manage the implementation on site, overseeing sign manufacture and installation to deliver an excellent end result, on time and on budget.
